Dare to Succeed on this Dare Day!

Happy Dare Day! June 1 marks not only the beginning of our favorite month (because it’s a fantastic time of year to reach out for academic consulting services), but it is also celebrated as a day to productively challenge yourself and those around you and dare to do something bold. Read on for our suggestions for educational dares to inspire students to soar today:

1. Dare to connect! So many students struggle with tricky topics or balancing assignments in classes of all levels, especially during finals seasons. If you’re stressing about your last exams and projects as many schools wrap up the current finals season, challenge yourself to ask someone in your class if they’d like to study together. You might be surprised at the fantastic friends you can make and the grades you can boost together.

2. Dare to reach out! Are you fascinated by the work of a researcher in your field of interest? Or, do you love a famous painting that’s under the care of a museum curator? What about your latest interest in a local business run by someone in your community? Today, send that researcher, curator, or businessperson an email to ask about their research or work and whether you could contribute or engage in some way.

3. Dare to volunteer! Summer is the perfect time for many busy students to get more involved in volunteering. Dare to meet new people and learn new skills through signing up for local or online volunteer opportunities.

Students, we dare you to do something challenging yet uplifting in your educational journey today! For guidance accomplishing any of this, My Ivy Education is a call away. Check out the rest of our site and stay connected with us to learn more about how we guide students every day to succeed and reach far greater heights than they ever dreamed they could.
